This day we will travel the whole day to Joshimath by taking a break at numerous beautiful spots. We will be watching all 5 prayags (meaning: place where 2 rivers meet). We would first witness Devprayag, which is the confluence of two rivers namely Bhagirathi and Alaknanda which then transcends into The Ganga. Further we would see Rudraprayag, which is the confluence of two rivers namely Mandakini and Alaknanda. Followed by Karnprayag, a confluence of Pindar and Alaknanda. PS: Pindar river is as blue as the sky. Next would be Nandprayag, a confluence of Mandakini and Alaknanda. Our first stop will be at Joshimath. Throughout the journey we will have sufficient food breaks so that we can enjoy the most welcoming beverage of Uttarakhand i.e. “tea” and most commonly consumed “Maggie”. Though you will be getting other types of food too, but the tea-maggie combination goes just perfect with the place. The night after this beautiful day will be enlightened with a bonfire and starry skies. Stay will be at a hotel in Joshimath.
